For Halloween, we did a Science experiment. The experiment showed an acid and base reaction. We used vinegar (the acid) and baking soda (the base) for our experiment. When we added the baking soda to the vinegar, the mixture started to fizz up to the rim of the jar and slowly it started to pour out of the jar and all over the tray.
The mixture turned into slime and we started to touch and play with the slime. The slime felt very slippery and cold but nice in your hands! The smell was a bit bad because of the vinegar. We loved doing this experiment because it was fun to see the ingredients react like that and then turn into slime. It was very very messy and some people's hands turned green like goblins!! by Aileen and Saoirse
