A man named Micheal came to teach us hurling every Monday. Each Monday we played hurling in the G.P hall when it was raining and outside when it was sunny . We did warm ups and passed the ball to each other. At the last hurling session we had a match.
By Josh and Kirsten On Friday the 31st of March we met a woman named Maria who told us about nature and our planet. Then we went outside and got bug pots and we looked for bugs. Some people found lots of bugs but others only found one or two. Then she called us to the front yard and she told us about our insects. When we were finished we let them free!
By Paige and Clara We made hearts out of thread, wool and paper. First we cut the paper into shapes of hearts. Then we sewed two hearts together and left a little hole to put the wool in. So we put in and sewed the hole and that’s the heart part done. Then we sewed an m on to the heart.
By Shelly When our class got the Primary Planet, Ms. Gunning asked us to enter a competition. We had to write a short story which was less than 500 words. My story was about a girl being bullied at school and she was too afraid to tell. The theme was `have the guts to do right thing` no matter what. I emailed my story to the Primary Planet. A few weeks later, I got a letter from the Primary Planet saying that I was 1 of the 10 authors in Ireland. I was delighted.

We have our own Confirmation books with lots of pictures and writing. It was great to hear that we will be wearing whatever we would like, everyone was happy about that! We’ve been learning a lot about the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. There are 36 children making their Confirmation this year. We are all looking forward to the 10th of March 2017.
By Niamh, Molly and Adam. In October we got our new laptops. We share the laptops with Mrs Brogan’s class. We used the laptops for researching about North America and the presidents of Ireland. We also used the laptops to do PowerPoint presentations North America. Mrs Brogan’s class did PowerPoints on Mexico. Masonite gave us a cheque of €800 for the laptops.
